Who is Responsible for the Processing of Your Personal Information?

The entity responsible for the processing of your personal information is Cyolo Security Ltd., referred to as “Cyolo”, “our”, “we” or “us” in this privacy policy.

Information for Providing you with a Demo

We collect and store your full name, company email address, telephone number, job title, company name and details and any other personal information you provide us with when requesting a demo. We use this information to establish a customer relationship and to provide you or your clients with a demo of our products. We rely on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and/or our legitimate interest (e.g., responding to you regarding the demo request). If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to process your request for a demo.

Information for Inquiries

We collect and store your full name, job title, company name and details, company email address, country, inquiry type, telephone number, and any other personal information you provide us with, when you contact us through our website. We will use such information to contact you, to respond to your query and to establish a business relationship. We rely on our legitimate interest (for example, responding to your questions or establishing a business relationship). If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to establish business communications with you and/or respond to you.

Information for Marketing and Promotional Purposes

We collect and store your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter, for the purpose of sending you information on promotional or informational materials, direct mailing and targeted advertising on products that we believe you may be interested in. We do so only if you have given consent for such purposes. If you do not provide us with this information, we will not be able to send you marketing communication.

Information for Candidates Applying for an Open Position with Cyolo through our Website 

We collect your full name, email address, phone number and resume/CV, as well as additional personal information collected during the recruitment process, including interview notes, internal evaluations, and information obtained from reference checks, and any other personal information you choose to provide us. We use this information to assess you as a candidate, manage the recruitment process, communicate with you, conduct interviews and reference checks, and evaluate your suitability for current or future roles. We rely on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and/or our legitimate interest (e.g., assessing your candidacy). If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to assess you as a candidate and/or communicate with you.

Information for the Maintenance and Improvement of our Website and Services

Third-party tools integrated into our website may collect and process information such as IP addresses, web server logs, cookies, pixel tags and web beacons as set forth in our Cookie Policy.

We collect and process your full name, email address, and any other personal information you choose to provide us with, to allow you to create an account, communicate with you, provide support and generally administer and improve our services. We rely on performance of a contract and/or our legitimate interest (e.g., analyzing the usage pattern of our services). If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to provide you with the services or improve them, personalize your experience, provide support and generally administer the services.

We collect and process your full name, email address, as well as any other personal information you choose to provide us in your message when you contact us on social media. We use this information to answer your questions and requests and establish a business relationship with potential partners and customers. We rely on our legitimate interest (e.g., to answer your inquiries or establish a relationship).  If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to respond to your requests and communicate with you.

We collect and process the full name, email address, phone number, company details and billing details as well as any additional personal information provided by our vendors, service providers, partners and resellers.  We use this information to establish a business relationship, communicate with you and negotiate the relevant agreement.  We rely on performance of a contract and/or our legitimate interest (e.g., to establish a business relationship).  If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to establish a business relationship, communicate with you or negotiate and execute the relevant agreement.  

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Because Cyolo is a global company, your personal information may be shared with other Cyolo offices or subsidiaries around the world.

Cyolo may share your personal information with other companies or people under any of the following circumstances:

• when we have your consent to share the information;

• when we need to send the information to third parties who work on behalf of Cyolo to provide you with customer service or promotional materials including, without limitation:

  • Cloud service providers for hosting purposes

  • Websites and web content creation platforms in order to help us manage our website

  • Email providers, marketing, CRM, other similar tool providers

  • Artificial intelligence tools; and

  • Analytics companies, in order to help us understand and analyze personal information we collect in accordance with this policy

• In the event of a sale or transfer of Cyolo's or any Cyolo affiliate’s shares or assets, in cases of mergers or in case of negotiations with respect to the foregoing;

• When we share your personal information with our resellers;

• With our lawyers, accountants, auditors and other professional advisors where necessary to obtain legal or other advice or otherwise protect and manage our business interests;

• In the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer, disclose or assign your personal information in connection with the foregoing events, including, in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or to another company;

• Where needed for corporate audits or to investigate or respond to a complaint or security threat, to prevent illegal uses of our services, to defend ourselves against third party claims and assist in fraud prevention or investigation; or

• We will also disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, or to protect personal safety, the public or our website.

Your personal information will be stored until we delete our records, or if you send a valid deletion request. Cyolo safeguards the security of the personal information with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures, taking into consideration the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risk of processing. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us, and so we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal information when you are on the Internet.

Third Party Sites

Our website may contain links to websites operated by other companies. Cyolo is not responsible for their privacy practices and website content. We encourage you to learn about the privacy policies and terms of those companies. Some of these third-party sites may have permission to include the Cyolo logo, even though they are not operated or maintained by Cyolo.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Cyolo will amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information, we will notify you by posting a notice on our website or by other means.

Privacy Inquiries

Cyolo is responsible for the processing of your personal information, and requests to exercise your rights as stated above shall be addressed to privacy@cyolo.io.

If you are a resident of the EU/EEA and have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal information by Cyolo you are entitled to report such dissatisfaction to the applicable supervisory authority in your country of residence.
